we believe in community

Monthly student service projects

Everyone should be receiving an email from their room parents explaining our November Service Project.  We have filled food boxes for St. Patrick’s Parish for many years now and we will continue this year.  Each classroom will complete 3 boxes, rather than collect just one item.  The sign up genius from your room parents will help us get all the items we need.

We are also beginning a school gratitude project.  Each class will make a gratitude chain which we will eventually link together.

Community Service

The J.E. Cosgriff Student Leadership Council carefully selects monthly service project for the entire school community to support. Some past projects include Thanksgiving dinner baskets for St. Patrick’s Parish, collecting food and item donations for the Utah Food Bank, YWCA, and the Road Home. Fundraising for foundations and organizations such as the Humane Society of Utah, Homeless Youth Resource Center and Catholic Relief Services. Students also perform for Parish Senior groups and knit scarves and hats for the St. Ambrose Parish Giving Tree  and Huntsman Cancer Institute.
