The mission of the grandparent-Solid Gold Club is to share our talents, resources and time to positively influence the spiritual and educational growth of our grandchildren. In addition, to renew old friendships and make new friends with other grandparents and members of the J.E. Cosgriff community through educational presentations, socials, fundraising events and grandparent school activities.

Solid Gold club insider series
To gain a better understanding of the curriculum, programs, and purpose of the education offered to all students attending J.E. Cosgriff School, (Toddler-Eighth Grade). To meet once a month and enjoy a special guest speaker. Topics will include politics, sports, leisure, healthy life style, home entertainment, cooking, finance, travel, book talks, current city events, etc.
Who: Grandparents, former grandparents, friends, parishioners, guests, and anyone else interested
What: Learn new information, visit friends, and meet new friends
When: Usually a Wednesday or Thursday, every four to six weeks, morning and some evenings. The exact date and time depends on guest availability
Where: In the J.E.Cosgriff School Library
Why: To promote learning and ways to support grandchildren. Also, to enjoy conversations, friendships and common interests among the Solid Gold Club members and other family and friends
