Volunteering
Studies show that successful schools are those in which parents are actively involved in the school’s maintenance and support. Volunteering allows you to meet other parents who share your values and interests. At Cosgriff, we offer many opportunities for parents to get involved and volunteer in the school or at school events.
Please be sure to log all service hours in your FACTS Family Portal/Cosgriff App. Service hours will be verified by program owners on a regular basis. Please enter hours throughout the school year opposed to waiting until the end of the year. Thank you for helping to track Cosgriff volunteer hours.
Each family is required to complete 20 hours of volunteer work in K-8, and 10 hours for toddler, preschool, PreK families. All hours must be completed and reported by the last day of school. Donations for classroom/faculty treats count as 1 volunteer hour per $25 spent. All hours must be completed and reported by the last day of school. At the end of the year, any uncompleted hours will be billed at $25 per hour. Please log your volunteer hours in the FACTS Family Portal.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an invaluable resource to our teachers and students. Volunteering not only enhances your child’s education, but also makes you a part of it. The faculty and staff are greatly appreciative and supportive of our volunteers’ contributions. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities. There will be many opportunities to volunteer during the school year, including some events/activities/tasks that are not listed above. Our teachers may also reach out for volunteers in the classroom.
