Grand Parent-Gold Club


The Mission of the Grand Parent-Gold Club is to share our talents, resources and time, to positively influence the spiritual and educational growth of our grandchildren. In addition, to renew old friendships and make new friends with  other grandparents and members of the J.E. Cosgriff Community through educational presentations, socials, fund raising events and grandparent school activities.

GOLD CLUB INSIDER SERIES—Priority and Direction for 2016-17


  1. To gain a better understanding of the curriculum, programs, and purpose of the education offered to all students attending J.E. Cosgriff School, (Toddler-Eighth Grade)
  2. To meet once a month and enjoy a special guest speaker. Topics will include politics, sports, leisure, healthy life style, home entertainment, cooking, finance, travel, book talks, current city events, etc..

 Who: Grandparents, former grandparents, friends, parishioners, and guests.

 What:  Learn new information, visit friends, and meet new friends.

 When: Usually a Wednesday or Thursday, every four to six weeks, morning and some evenings. The exact date and time depends on guest availability.

Where: In the J.E.Cosgriff School Library

Why: To promote learning and ways to support grandchildren. Also, to enjoy  conversations, friendships and common interests among the Gold Club members and other family and friends.

***Bring a few dollars (cash only) each month for a special raffle. This will help with coffee and pastry for the next presentation.
