Dear Loyal Families and Friends,
 .
The mission of J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School is to guide our students to become respectful, responsible, and productive citizens through quality academic instruction that is grounded in Catholic teaching and tradition.
 .
In an ever-changing world, the guiding principles of our mission and Catholic education become more important in providing a solid moral and academic education for our children. For over fifty-eight years, we at J.E. Cosgriff School have proudly honored our faith, academic progress, and heartfelt virtues. We encourage students to become tomorrow’s leaders, to go out and do good in the world as they realize the many benefits of their strong liberal arts Catholic education.
 .
Your generous support is needed again this year as a participant in our Annual Appeal. While tuition revenues are the largest source of the school’s budget funds, the amount collected in tuition is not the actual amount needed to educate each student. The difference is about $2,000 per student in kindergarten through eighth grade. This difference must be met predominately through fundraising, grant requests, and other matching gifts. In addition to teacher salaries and core academic curriculum, annual giving donations enrich programs such as music, drama, technology, athletics, professional development for teachers, scholarships for students in need, and the physical upkeep of our aging school facility.
 .
We have a fundraising goal of $200,000 for the year which will ensure that all financial obligations are met. The Annual Appeal, along with other fundraising events such as Mardi Gras, is critical in reaching this goal. If we work together as advocates, family, and friends, there is no doubt that we will achieve and possibly surpass our goal. Every gift, whatever the amount, counts and is valued.
 .
Once again, thank you for helping to building a community of Faith, Knowledge, and Service at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School.
 .
